No tax dollars are used in the maintenance, operation, and upkeep of the Civic Center thanks to the generous Jessie Langworthy trust.
The Facility
The civic center has spaces available to suit a variety of meetings and events. The main floor has two large meeting spaces with multiple options for set up including round tables or long conference tables with seating for eight, a large smart TV, fireplace and comfortable perimeter seating. There are also two midsize conference rooms with boardroom or classroom seating options and smart TV, as well as an option for smaller groups without AV needs.
The West end of the building houses the Chamber of Commerce, the Langworthy Gallery, and an auditorium with tiered seating, lighting and sound system, and a baby grand piano. The lower level offers a catering kitchen and a large banquet area that can be divided into two separate spaces if necessary.
